After weeks of successful expert registration across our topics (Parenting, Relationships, foreign language practice, etc.), we embarked on growing the important ‘everyday parenting experts’ pool. Â Check out a this recent discussion I found on Parenting 2.0, an amazing LinkedIn group, about the need for a ‘way’ for people with hard-earned parenting experience to share their expertise in a rewarding way:Â http://lnkd.in/BuHfTp
One of the participants in the discussion raises an important question:
“…When you recognize that the way you were parented was not great, you know you don’t want to repeat it but how do you know what to do differently? That’s what I offer, the opportunity to learn how to do things differently. What I find hardest is to know how to market this to the general public???”
This is exactly why we built Wizpert! – the knowledge you have gained as a parent through observation and experience, makes you an invaluable resource for any parent who need advice/support (which school should I send my daughter to? how to get my son to practice the piano? how to explain a relative’s surgery? Sleep training, etc.). Â We let our experts select their areas of expertise and they receive user calls on these topic at their availability.
The most important credential for our experts is their rating by the users who call with questions and issues. Â Once experts obtain a high enough rating on a few unpaid calls, they are eligible to charge for their time, and build a reputation as a great advisor on this topic (and others).
Sign-up is free, and takes under 2 minutes, and click the ‘become an expert’ button:
